Involvement in Knoxville Community

The Knoxville Expo Center is a multi-purpose facility that has served Knoxville and East Tennessee since 2000 as a primary destination for consumer shows, trade shows and public events. More than 2 million visitors have come through our doors over the past 10-plus years.

All of our events offer interesting, entertaining activities for guests. There are some activities that also add to the excellent quality of life in Knoxville, Tennessee. Here is a short list of events that the Knoxville Expo Center has hosted:

  • Food City Family Race Night – semi-annual stop on the NASCAR Sprint Cup tour
  • Knox County Schools Back to School Bash – distribution of free school supplies to families who need financial help
  • Knoxville Home Design and Remodeling Show – benefits Knoxville Habitat for Humanity
  • Second Harvest Food Bank’s “Without Reservations” – fundraiser to fight hunger in 18 counties of East Tennessee
  • Operation Christmas Child – collection and shipping center for Samaritan’s Purse, a non-profit organization headed by Franklin Graham to distribute shoeboxes of Christmas gifts to children around the globe

KEC is proud of its community involvement and desires to work with these event promoters – and many others — who give back to the people of Knoxville.
